Jam with Ceramics | A Beginner's Clay Date with Jamie Bartolacci of jamsauce
Thursday, October 22nd
Oh! Canary is thrilled to welcome local artist Jamie Bartolacci of @jamsaucepots to our South Orange studio for a playful two-part introduction to ceramics. This super-chill evening will give you a little taste of each step that goes into creating ceramic objects, and requires only enthusiam: no prior experience necessary!
In the first part of this workshop, you'll hand-build and personalize one functional ceramic piece under Jamie's guidance, and then choose from a rainbow of glazes for her to fire and finish your piece for you.
In the second part of the workshop, you'll select a pre-fired "naked" jamsauce piece and glaze it however you wish.
Jamie will finish both pieces in her kiln for you, and once complete, you'll have two one-of-a-kind functional ceramic pieces to use or gift. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks from Oh! Canary South Orange.

Come for a relaxed morning of good clay, good company, and even better times. You'll hand-build two functional ceramic pieces, personalize them, then leave them with me to glaze and fire.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks from Kanibal & Co.

Drink and Jam at Shopkeeper

Treat yourself after you help your kids treat themselves because you deserve a little fun after all the Halloween crazy.
Like a drink and draw, but instead of drawing, you make two functional pottery pieces. Come for a relaxed evening of clay, creativity, and good company. You'll hand-build two functional ceramic pieces, personalize them, then leave them with me to glaze and fire. After you create, stay for a bit to shop and treat yourself to something nice.
Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 3–4 weeks from Shopkeeper.
Rosé and snacks provided.
No experience necessary.
